The Colorful Bloom Of Kaas Plateau Of Satara - HolidayIQ traveller Ashish Hunkeri from Solapur shares,It was very cold and rainy day(21 Sept 2015). I arrived to Kaas Plateau at 7. 15 am, in morning. When I stepped out from bus, I felt like I'm walking in heaven. No words to explain. I never imagined there is really heaven on earth like this. After the valley of flowers, Uttarakhand, the Kaas Plateau is only one place in India where flowers blooms naturally in large amount and 46 species of them founds in red data book of rare flowers. It's natural world heritage site for its unique biodiversity. More than 850 species founds in Kaas region. The best time to visit this place is mid September to first week of October. There is no restaurants on Kaas Plateau, but 2 km from hilltop near the Kaas lake(another best place to visit) you can get food restaurants and canteens.
